Studio Policies Concerning Proofing and Investment Session
Proofing and ordering your images!
Here at k. Norwood Portraiture we try to make your proofing and ordering session as comfortable as possible. Before you leave your portrait session we will set up an appointment for you to come back in to preview and order your portraits. This generally occurs about two weeks later after your session. At your initial consultation, you should have received a pricing menu. I offer this to let you know about your investment in your portrait session in advance. That way there are no surprises!
All ordering sessions are held at our home studio and only in the event a client lives out of town will I post images online before a ordering session. Prices are guaranteed for a period of 30 days following the date of the portrait session and items purchased more than 30 days after the date of the session will be subject to the most recent price list in effect.
Images will be shown via projection at your ordering session in the studio. You should allow for approximately 1-2 hours depending on the type of portrait session you commissioned. During this time you will preview your images, talk about custom products that are available and order your custom prints and products. Because of this we ask that you consider not bringing your children to the ordering session. This allows you the opportunity to concentrate on each image and savor the experience that is involved with custom portraiture. Samples of framing and portrait albums will be available for you to review. All portraits/products must be ordered at this ordering session and payment is due at that time. We do however offer a payment plan for orders that exceed $400.
After your initial order is place, an online gallery of your purchased images can be setup for 7 days activation for Family and Friends to place additional orders. All additional orders must be placed within the 7 day activation to receive any special pricing or discounts that were offered at the investment session. If more time is needed for online orders, a re-activiation fee will be assessed and standard pricing will take effect.
If for some reason, you must cancel a Proofing/Investment session, we ask that you try to give us at least 24 hours notice. We understand that emergencies do come up from time to time and we hope that you will take the time to give us a call as soon as possible.
