June 7th was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day.
Robert and I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Kati and Taylor Sessions and we had such a great time doing so. Due to some issues with the military, Kati and Taylor really got married a year earlier but they wanted to renew their vows in front of their friends and family. Kati chose to have her wedding at Double Creek Crossing and Leah Smith and her staff was FABULOUS as always. Taylor (the groom) chose to wear his Air Force uniform and several of his buddies from the Corps at TAMU did so. Almost every service was represented! There was even the token Marine! Kati’s friends from her Disney World internship made the trip to her wedding…and you could see the special relationship that had developed while they all interned in Florida. Kati looked fabulous in her Disney inspired Princess for the day wedding dress. I don’t think I’ve seen her happier!
Kati and Taylor spent their honeymoon on the island of Oahu and will make their home in Wisconsin for the next few years. I enjoyed meeting her family and do hope that they will make it back to Texas sometime soon. Congratulations, Kati and Taylor! We loved working with you and your family!
Here are a few images from their engagement session on the campus of TAMU and from Kati’s bridal session…along with some highlights of the AMAZING day!!!
Kati is a hoot and I got the most wonderful expressions out of both of them. I adore this image of the two of them cutting up on their engagement session. Of course, every couple from TAMU has to have their picture taken at the Century Tree.
Last pictures of the night in front of Blue Bell Park!
Kati wanted me to put the words The Princess on the the sign at The Queen but either way I still think she looked royal!
I love when brides have ideas about what they want to do for their bridal sessions. Kati hired Alexi from Hidden Oasis Carriages to drive us around downtown Bryan and get some really cool images of her in the carriage and with her horse. This was one of my favorites!
We started Kati’s session at my home studio and used our porches to photograph her. I love how carefree she looks here.

I love how Leah shows off each wedding couple with a special wish for their wedding day.
The Bridal Party!
Let’s be Silly!
The Dress! Amazing!
Both the wedding cake and the groom’s cake were made by Taylor’s grandmother.
Saw Varsity’s horns off!
